Current Opportunities
Carpenter’s Assistant/Apprentice to help with some upcoming projects. This position is currently pier diem and has the potential to grow to a full-time status.
Your duties will primarily be helping the carpenter in the construction + installation process for custom-designed furniture and remodeling.
Requirements, Abilities + Physical Demands
Must be able to perform repetitive bending, turning, twisting, kneeling, and reaching motions, in addition to lifting some materials overhead.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must be able to use power tools + hand tools (some on-site training can occur)
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to take direction
Must be punctual + professional
Ideal Candidates (suggested but not required)
will own basic carpentry tool-set (hammer, tape measure, impact driver, circular saw, etc.)
some working knowledge of construction process
Interior designer/sales consultant will work with lead designer + carpenter to re-imagine living spaces for clients. We are looking for creative individuals who can develop designs and solutions based on habitat creative designs aesthetics and within client budgets.
Some responsibilities/requirements will include:
• Interviewing new clients and evaluating existing conditions
• Proficient in CAD programs
• Must value a collaborative work environment
• Portfolio of work
• Sales experience
• Working knowledge of industry trends/concepts with a focus on sustainability preferred
Currently this is a freelance opportunity that is commission-based that has the potential to grow into a partnership.
