Wicked-Great Granville Deck + Pergola Project

We’re excited to share this beautiful deck and pergola project we recently completed in Granville. This historic home is nestled in the village behind the legendary Granville Inn. We designed and built this deck to flow with the existing house. The handrail for example, was all custom milled to match the front porch to create unity throughout the property.

As part of the transformation, we replaced an existing set of windows with a handsome new set of French doors, creating a seamless connection between the home and outdoor living space. We also crafted custom lattice panels designed to support climbing hydrangeas, which will eventually weave their way across the pergola and add even more character to the garden.

What was once an underutilized backyard is now an inviting extension of the home. A place for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors. We’re especially pleased with how this project enhanced both the beauty and functionality of the space.
